If your student has a mild cough/cold that is not bothering them, it is okay to send them to school. We would like to share some additional steps students and families can take to lower the spread of respiratory illness in schools.
It is the parent's/legal guardian's responsibility to provide to provide documentation to verify the reason (s) of absence within 10 school days after the student returns to school in order to prevent absences from being recorded as uncleared/unexcused and counting towards truancy.
