Museum Free Days
Southern California has many fun and educational places for children and adults. We encourage you take your child out to explore the arts, sciences, and history our city has to offer. Don't feel like you have to be an expert in these areas or that you have to know all the questions that your child may have. Instead, go out and learn together.
Below is a list of free museum days. Dates and times are subject to change. Please check the museum's website when planning your visit.
* Page Museum/La Brea Tar Pits
Free admission on the first Tuesday of every month, except July and August.
* Natural History Museum LA County
Free admission on the following days:

* William S. Hart Ranch and Museum
Free admission every visit. The museum is closed every Monday and Tuesday.
Admission to all exhibitions is free and open to the public every day.
* Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens
Free admission on the first Thursday of every month with advance tickets.
Free admission on Thursdays.
Free admission to permanent exhibit galleries daily. There is a charge for special exhibits and attractions.
* Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Free admission on the second Tuesday of every month.
Free admission every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
* The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA
Free admission every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Free admission every visit. The museum is closed on Mondays.
* Japanese American National Museum
Free admission every third Thursday of the month. Free admission every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
* Museum of Latin American Art
Free admission every Sunday.
Free admission on the first Tuesday evening of every month from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Free admission on the first Friday evening of every month from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

One free general admission for Bank of America cardholders on the first Sunday of each month.
